Learn more about the services available at Suffolk Pet Crematorium and how we can make your final goodbye with your pet a special and memorable experience

Here to guide you as you say goodbye

Losing a pet is a very emotional time no matter their size. At the Suffolk Pet Crematorium, we endeavour to do everything within our power to ease your sense of loss and help you get the time and space to say a proper goodbye to your pet.

Our bespoke service is available to those who have recently lost or those who are expecting a loss – if your pet is ill or nearing the end of its life or if you would just like to understand the process you are most welcome to contact the team in advance. When the time comes, they will have all the information they need allowing them to handle the proceedings sympathetically, easily and professionally. Doing so allows you the time to grieve peacefully, without having to worry about the details of the cremation on the day.

At this very tough and emotional time we are here to provide understanding, support and help guide you through the loss of your beloved pet with compassion and sensitivity.

The Farewell Process

Upon visiting our premises, you will be greeted by a friendly and welcoming member of the team, who is on-hand to help your pets final journey and your bereavement be as peaceful as possible.

From here, you will be offered access to our Farewell Room to allow you to spend time with your pet and say a proper goodbye.

You can browse our range of urns and caskets or pay a visit to the lake of remembrance to quietly reflect on the fond memories of a lifetime of love with your pet. We never rush our clients and will always give you the appropriate time and space you require.

We pride ourselves on having pets ashes reunited with their owners within 24 hours and often sooner depending on timings (please note that for larger animals such as horses & ponies this timescale is longer)

All clients receive a certificate of cremation with your pet’s name and the date of cremation and a packet of memorial forget-me-not seeds to scatter where you wish.

Owners sometimes ask to be present during the cremation of their pet, this is a service that we are more than happy to facilitate however we do ask for advanced notice if this is something that you would like as availability is limited.

For further information on our pet and horse cremation services, please give us a call and we will be happy to talk you through the process to put your mind at rest.

Our Services

The Lake of Remembrance

Sit and reflect at the peaceful and beautiful Lake of Remembrance with abundant wildlife and far-reaching rural views. It makes an ideal spot to scatter your pet’s ashes if you so wish or just to sit and reminisce whenever the need arises. You are welcome to visit - come on your own or bring friends and family.

Your special friend deserves to be remembered whenever you wish so please feel free to visit us and the lake although we do ask you to make an appointment beforehand.

The Farewell Room

We understand that the circumstances in which you visit us are not always expected, and you may not have had the chance to properly spend time with your pet before you require our services. As such, we've dedicated a space to giving our customers that opportunity in our Farewell Room.

Take as long as you need - the space is yours whilst you're with us.

Lasting Reminders

Gone but never forgotten, animals leave special paw prints on our hearts that can never be replaced or removed. As such, you may want a physical reminder of the happy memories you had with your pet in the shape of an oak casket with a brass nameplate, decorative urn or even placed in jewellery.

Ashes can be returned in a tasteful, biodegradable box for you to scatter in a treasured place.
